The OEKO-TEXT label

What is OEKO-TEX?

Oeko-Tex is an independent organisation made up of several research laboratories and testing institutes in Europe and Japan.

It has become a globally recognized label since 1992. According to the association, "To date, 10,000 manufacturers, brands and retailers in nearly 100 countries work with Oeko-Tex to ensure that their products are tested for possible harmful substances."

What guarantees does this certification provide?

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification ensures the legal conformity of the textile products tested. An OEKO-TEX® fabric has been checked at each stage of processing: raw materials, threads, dyeing. In fact, it guarantees the absence (or the presence in very small quantities) of toxic and harmful substances for health. It ensures the ecology of production, human ecology, use, and elimination.

Not to be confused with biological tissue

Organic clothing also has fabric that is made without chemicals, but it also has the added benefit of being made with eco-friendly fibers – unlike OEKO-TEX fabric which may be synthetic.
